MP backs biodiesel tax break campaign

Liberal Democrat MP Andrew George is backing a project to keep tax breaks for who produce biodiesel.
Producers transforming cooking oil into biodiesel currently take advantage of a 20p differential but that is because of end next April.
The St Ives MP, who leads the Lib Dem Environment Team, has been fulfilling with the UK sustainable biodiesel alliance.
Mr George said "a variety of little services in Cornwall currently earn money from used cooking oil".
He included: "In order to be able to get this type of industry going it does need just a little bit of lift which comes in the kind of tax inevitable."
Biodiesel is a mix of standard diesel, rapeseed and vegetable oils.
